About Snooty Fox Restaurant

Sarah Fenech and James Sheehan met in 2002 at Heritage golf club where they were both working as chefs. Approximately six months into their relationship Sarah decided to take James to the restaurant where she began her apprentiship, this restaurant was called The Snooty Fox.

During their meal they made a 'pinkie swear' to each other, that one day they would run a restaurant together. One year later they are running that very restaurant. Watch out what you wish for!!

Both Sarah and James show a lot of passion and dedication in their profession.

Sarah leads from her heart and has worked under big name chefs such as Philippe Mouchel and Geoff Slattery. With a passion for pastry work she has conducted classes teaching the essential ingredient. She also obtained apprentice of the year in 1999.

James leads from his head and has worked in a number of prestige establishments including Nine Darling Street in Sth Yarra, The Chalet Hotel at Mt Buller and Ma Mensa Restaurant in Noosa Heads, Qld. With a passion for grill and pan work he is loving the challenges that the Snooty Fox has to offer.

The combination of skills and leadership provided by Sarah and James make for a well balanced team in the kitchen offering some of the best cuisine available.

Known for its scenic beauty, Olinda is less than an hours drive from Melbourne and is a must see destination for any visitor to the Dandenong Ranges.

We are located on the Mount Dandenong Tourist Rd, at the intersection of Monash Avenue. Look for the Snooty Fox on the sign out the front.
